Ready to connect?

To start, please make sure you have downloaded the Alexa App and that your Amazon device is fully registered and connected to your Wi-Fi. In addition, you will need to make sure that your my.warmup.com account has been set up and your 4iE is connected. Once connected, open the app and go to the Skills in the menu. Find the skill Warmup 4iE and select Enable.

Once you have selected Enable, enter your my.warmup.com account login credentials. Then, you will need to connect your 4iE thermostat by asking Alexa to discover your device. When the device is discovered, you may now use your Alexa with your Warmup 4iE.

Attached are the New January 1st 2019 AGA-Marvel-Heartland Price Books.

Listed below is a schedule of when purchase orders must be submitted and when it has to be shipped, prior to the new January 1st price books.

  • December 28, 2018 – all new orders placed by 12:00 noon (EST.), will be processed and shipped December 28, 2018, under the current price book.
  • December 28, 2018 – all new orders received after 12:00 noon (EST.), will be processed and shipped under the January 1, 2019 price book.
  • December 28, 2018 – all open orders with current pricing must be shipped or the order will be changed according to the January 1, 2019 price book.

The only exception to this are legitimate items on back-order from the factory (e.g. colored finishes, etc.).  Once a Back-ordered item is received by Middleby Residential, the dealer will be notified to schedule delivery within 7 – 10 days.  Items not released within this timeframe are subject to the January 1, 2019 price book.

Lower tariff for January will lower many 2019 prices

Dear Top Knobs / Atlas Homewares customer,
The US/China trade dispute is keeping us on our toes.  Today, we comment on the very good news that the two countries have agreed to negotiate, without further escalation of tariffs, for 90 days.
We have just mailed to you our 2019 catalogs and price lists for Top Knobs and Atlas Homewares.  This note may or may not beat those materials to you.  We planned 2019 prices based on the US government’s previous announcement that tariffs on certain goods were moving from 10% to 25% on January 1, 2019.
The immediate good news:  the prices on certain products in our 2019 price lists are now too high.  We are reducing the increases to reflect the impact of only the 10% tariff, not the 25% tariff.  The products affected are:
  • Top Knobs bath hardware
  • Atlas Homewares bath hardware
 It is critical that you have access to our adjusted prices ASAP.  We have posted those in PDF form at the following websites:
 You will find these prices lower than what is in the printed price lists.  We suggest that you print the adjusted prices and clip them to the price lists that are arriving any day.
2019 has the potential to be somewhat chaotic if tariffs change during the year.  We very much hope that the tariffs are not raised and are not extended to other products.  In fact, we hope that they go away altogether.  If there are further changes, we will respond accordingly, reducing prices or passing some of the costs along.
As we said in our annual note to you, we pledge that we’ll be transparent.  We’ll also be fair – we do not intend to make money on the tariffs.  We will instead absorb some of the increased costs and pass any reductions on to you.

New Aker “Resin8” Backing Material

Aker will be transitioning to a new resin backing for their units beginning next week.  This new and exciting Resin8 material will be on all ABG FRP brands, and will have a dark charcoal color backing.

This is a running change.

“Treat every customer like it is my mom.”

That saying stuck with me, and it definitely had an impact on every customer contact I had, whether it was on the phone or in person.

Just think: If you knew in advance that you were assisting your boss’ mom, you would give it 110%.

Plus, you never really know if it is or not. Always give the customer your BEST!
