I wanted to send out an email letting you know our current lead time is 4-5 weeks. We are working hard to improve that, and appreciate your understanding.A couple of things our customers can do to help with that:

  • Put “Need By” dates on your order forms. We can’t always meet those dates, but our scheduler definitely tries his best!
  • Check your acknowledgements for accuracy. I write up most of the orders, and make mistakes some times (as much as I don’t want to admit that!) If the mistakes are caught early enough, that will eliminate rushing remake orders through.
  • Please let me know if you do not receive an acknowledgement within 2-3 days of your order being placed. Again, that will eliminate orders being rushed through later.

Lastly, it’s been brought to our attention that some of your A’vant samples are mislabeled. CF URGENT 72/78 Spouts/Angle Stops

In the interest of communicating accurate lead time information to our customers, we would like to inform you of the following two issues:

  1. It has come to our attention that our current inventory of ribbon spouts– used in our 72 and 78 Series– are not meeting our strict quality standards when it comes to polished finishes.  Therefore, we are temporarily not accepting orders for any 72 or 78 Series faucets in polished finishes until further notice.   These finishes include:  Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Polished Brass, Lifetime Polished Gold, French Gold, and Black Nickel.   The 72 and 78 Series may, however, still be ordered in all our other finishes.
  1. It has further come to our attention that our current inventory used in our Deluxe Angle Stop program is not meeting our normal quality standards.  In an abundance of caution, we are not shipping any pending orders nor accepting any new orders for all finishes until further notice.  The affected SKU’s are: 900090019004, and 9005 and also Angle Stop Kits that contain the affected SKU’s:9820 to 98349851, and 9853.

JennAir Columns! Showroom Mode, What to Order, Accessory List

I wanted to share some quick tips and tricks with our new columns!!
Putting Your New Columns in Showroom Mode:

When Ordering a Stainless Panel for a Column:

  • Base model (left or right swing)
  • Stainless panel (RISE/NOIR/Pro/Euro)
  • If combining a column freezer and column refrigerator OR column refrigerator and column refrigerator, you’ll need a joining kit (includes heater kit)
  • The stainless panel ships with a black toe kick.  The black toe kick will be tucked into some foam in the packaging, so make sure you don’t throw it away when unboxing
  • If your client would like a stainless toe kick, that can be ordered as an accessory
  • Accessory list with toe kick and joining kit information is attached to this email

When Ordering a Custom Overlay for a Column:

  • Base model (left or right swing)
  • If combining a column freezer and column refrigerator OR column refrigerator and column refrigerator, you’ll need a joining kit (includes heater kit)
  • Toe kick (black or stainless)
  • Accessory list with toe kick and joining kit information is attached to this email

Trevarrow NEW Upgrade and Save Consumer Rebate

Attached is a NEW Consumer Rebate Program. The “Upgrade and Save” Consumer Rebate starts 6/1 and ends 11/30. These Consumer Rebates are on the most popular replacement models.

For the month of June, it can be combine with the Factory Certified Installation rebate.

Recently I’ve been using the term “Sound-bites” when referring to the Price and Postponement Objection.

Webster defines a sound-bite as “a brief catchy comment or saying.”

I define it as someone who isn’t sharing enough information for you to respond.

When the prospect says “Your price is too high,” or, “I want to think about it,” that’s a soundbite.

They haven’t given you enough information for you to respond yet. That means you have to ask for clarity by asking: “How come you feel the price is too high? Or, “what’s keeping you from moving forward?”

The answer they give to your question will provide you the information needed to respond.

Waterworks Distribution Center – Shipments Experiencing Delays

Please be advised that due to system issues, the Waterworks Distribution Center has been experiencing shipment delays since late yesterday.

As a result, some priority shipments (2nd day and overnight service) from yesterday may have been impacted. Our Service & Support Teams are working closely with the distribution center today to prioritize any delayed shipments. Beginning today, any standard ground shipments may be delayed by an additional 24 hours as we work to prioritize expedited shipments.

Please communicate this information to your clients as needed to ensure proper expectations are being set.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

If you have any questions or concerns please partner with your Project Management Team or Project Coordinators as needed.

Baldwin Estate & Reserve Price Increase Notice

Effective May 28, 2019, new list prices will be established for Estate and Reserve products.

Below are the details:

·         The price increase is a result of the May 10, 2019 tariff announcement by the US government; tariff on Baldwin items changed from 10% to 25%.

·         3.50% price increase, effective Tuesday, May 28, 2019 (Estate and Reserve)

·         Orders placed prior to May 28, 2019 will be entered using current list prices.

·         Orders placed starting May 28, 2019 will be entered using the new list prices.

·         To avoid significant stress to our supply chain, total customer purchases should not exceed 110% of their prior month’s unit volume unless there was a previously scheduled job or event.

·         Baldwin Marketing will provide new price book PDFs and printed price books with updated list pricing; we will communicate the timing once the details are finalized.
