New Dish Drawer Warranty

This is a notification to let you know we are updating our dish warranty starting January 1, 2017.  As of that date all Dish Drawers in every model will move to a 2-year parts and labor warranty plus 1 additional year parts and labor with online registration.  This is valid in all of the United States and Canada with the exception of Quebec.  Online terms and conditions will be updated in January to reflect this change.  Web banners will also post in early 2017 promoting a 3-year warranty – this includes the 2-year warranty that now comes with the product plus the one additional year.  Please note – we have received word that some warranty books have shipped with dish products in 2016 that already showed the 2-year warranty so you may begin receiving inquiries about this ahead of the warranty change.  Those customers will receive the warranty stated in their booklet.  Moving forward, all dish products sold in 2017 will be covered with this updated warranty.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you.

MIELE Q1 2017 – Kitchen Package Promotion

Good Morning,

Beginning January 1st, Miele will be rolling out a kitchen package promotion.  The promotion will run JANUARY 1st – MARCH 31st (with installation by November 30th).  It will include a few key elements below and will be a 10% Rebate back to the consumer, so all pieces will be charged UMRP up front, with a rebate to consumer once product is received.

Package to Qualify for Promotion:

–          (1) Range OR Cooktop/Rangetop & full Convection Oven

–          (2) Dishwasher

–          (3) Appliance of Choice (Speed Oven/Steam Oven/Built-In Coffee/Hood/Refrigeration/Warming Drawer, etc.)

Please let me know if you have not received the attached Pamphlet I mailed out last week and I will make sure to get some in the mail to you this week.  The consumer can keep adding beyond the three/four pieces above for additional savings – $30,000 kitchen package will receive a $3,000 rebate, while a $10,000 kitchen package will receive a $1,000 rebate.  Please contact me directly with additional questions and thank you for your help with this!

LG Portable Air Conditioner Recall Information

Attached please find the paperwork pertaining to the LG portable air conditioner recall that was announced on Monday.  While we do not currently have any inventory on these SKUs, some of our dealers might.  Please have them stop selling these units immediately and contact the phone number and/or website listed on the paperwork to handle any exchanges necessary.  These units go back to 2011, but all 3 were carried by Almo over the past 5 years.  If there are any questions regarding this recall, please let me know.
