The Furniture Guid is offering a new division – FG HOME

I want to share with you a new division of The Furniture Guild. 
We have developed a line of home furnishings called FG Home. 
We basically just took our vanity designs and turned them into bedroom furniture.
 
The distribution for this product line will be different than what we currently do for the bath.
But nothing changes for Furniture Guild Bath.
 
We are giving all of our Bath showrooms access to the FG Home line at 50 off. 
The price list isn’t setup for discounts any deeper than 50 off.
 
This could be a great product line to present to old Furniture Guild consumers. 
My thinking is that anyone that has one of our vanities is instantly qualified and should understand the quality of our products.
They’ve been stuck at home for weeks.
Might be a good time to approach them and offer a chance to update their bedroom.

Brasstech: COVID-19 – May 4th Update

During this challenging time, Brasstech, Inc. is taking elevated measures to protect the safety and well-being of its employees. We are following all local, state and federal guidelines and orders. Brasstech closed all three of its facilities on March 20th. Since that time we have continued to monitor current events while keeping the health and safety of our team members and their families our top priority.
During the temporary closure we have made efforts to thoroughly clean and disinfect our facilities in preparation for restarting operations. Per CDC recommendations we are implementing numerous guidelines to keep our employees safe including:
Social distancing actions
Staggered shifts
Frequent disinfection of common areas
Restricted vendor/contractor access
Rearranged workspaces to increase distancing
In late April, we began the process of gradually reopening our facilities with limited staff. We are currently shipping product from inventory and will gradually ramp up production over the next several weeks. We anticipate that it could be months before we become fully operational so we appreciate your understanding during this time of great uncertainty.
Our top priority is to ship orders that were received prior to the March 20th shutdown. Our next focus will be processing and shipping orders received between March 20th and May 3rd. We are anticipating that these orders will likely ship 4 to 8 weeks past the due date stated on the original order depending on the type of products ordered.
Effective on all orders received on or after May 4th, we are temporarily updating lead times as follows:
Newport Brass ReadyShip – 3 weeks
Newport Brass Non-Readyship – 12 weeks
Newport Brass Valves – 1 week
Ginger – 2 weeks
As we continue to ramp up production and return to normal operations we will make our best effort to process and ship all orders in a timely manner. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your understanding.

Robern Drop Shipments

Dear Valued Robern Customers,

Robern will operate our plant in limited capacity to fulfill drop-ship orders. With this adjustment the following orders can be fulfilled:

  • Ship mirrors, Vesper™ lighting, glass tops, sconces, pull-out magnification mirrors and Entice® to all customers.These can be shipped to showrooms, warehouses, distributors and jobsites.
  • NEW: Drop-ship orders direct to consumers for all products and from all customers. All products, other than those listed above, that cannot be shipped to showrooms, warehouses, distributors and jobsites can now be drop shipped direct to your customer. These drop shipments will be at Robern’s expense while we are operating in a limited capacity. During this time Robern will eliminate FFA rules to ensure your customers can receive their products in a timely manner.
  • Robern can accept inventory orders for all products for later manufacturing and shipment to showrooms, warehouses, distributors and jobsites once Pennsylvania approves Robern to open to full capacity.

We hope this relieves any impact that Robern’s shutdown had on you and your business. As an organization, we are committed to supporting you through the COVID-19 situation and beyond.

Robern, Inc. operations are considered critical to our customers and to a variety of state and local governments which allows Robern to continue operating in a limited capacity.

  • The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development “Life-Sustaining Business Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)” was updated on 4/14/2020 to indicate that businesses may “retain essential personnel to process payroll and insurance claims, maintain security, and engage in similar limited measures on an occasional basis.” Also, per FAQ #16, “Mail, phone and online order may continue to be fulfilled by essential staff so long as payment is made by mail, phone or online and the order is delivered to the customer at the customer’s home. In fulfilling orders telework should be employed whenever possible, and social distancing must be observed.”

The health and safety of our associates and customers is always our top priority. Our continuing manufacturing operations are supported by heightened cleaning standards that correspond with CDC, WHO and local health authority stringent guidelines, with enhanced deep cleaning and sanitization at increased intervals, at a time when it is more important than ever.

Staff resuming operations will be practicing social distancing requirements of six feet between people, personal hygiene and infection-control practices at all times. We are providing associates returning to work with a Safe Passage letter in case they are approached by authorities. We are providing flexible work arrangements and have instructed all associates to stay home if they are not feeling well. We have been accommodating for associates not comfortable coming to work, or who have had to care for family members or children, allowing flexibility and shift changes as appropriate.

Robern’s Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Product Development teams are working remotely in full capacity.

We will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC, WHO and local agencies so that we can rapidly respond to this changing situation.

Wetstyle Update

WETSTYLE will gradually increase operations
Dear Valued Reps and Dealers –
 
I hope this note finds you well.
 
As of this writing, at WETSTYLE, we are operational with the factory back open at 60% capacity and the customer service desk is open at 40% capacity. 
 
We will be slowly adding capacity back over May and June.
As of this week, new WETMAR BiOTM purchase orders received this week will be shipped out the last week of June / the 1st week of July.
