Furniture Guild Lead Times

Due to an increase in production demand, beginning Monday 11/29/2021, lead times for all standard Furniture Guild products will be 12-14 weeks. Custom orders will maintain the 1-2 week lead time for CAD approvals then follow with a 12-14 week production time. As always, please feel free to call with any questions you may have.

The Galley H/C Tap Update

I wanted to personally update you on the status of your backordered Galley Hot & Cold Taps, (PO#’s P1133209, P1133407, and P1134207). In August, we advised the Dealer and Designer network through our new price book that we expected this product to be “available late 2021.” Given the information we had at the time, that is what we believed. Based on a series of updates we received from our suppliers late last week, their latest ETA is now March. The supply chain issues regarding the hoses are still ongoing and, in addition to that, we have now been advised that we have an unexpected delay with our Hot Tanks as well, again a supply chain issue. Overall, we have managed to handle these global supply chain issues extremely well as a company. Other than our Hot & Cold Tap, (and more recently, our two new Wash Tools where there is a plastics/resin supply issue), we have seen no material backorder situations since the beginning of the Covid pandemic and have been able to ship all Galley products in a timely manner.

The delays on this product are extremely frustrating and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you with your clients. We are pressing very hard for an earlier resolution. Once we do receive them from our factory, assuming your customers are willing to wait, we will ship them to you immediately with an additional 25% discount. In the interim, we would be happy to send you a Galley Hole Cover at no charge for your customers to use until the Hot & Cold Tap and Hot Tank are shipped to you. Miele Service Calls

If you need to schedule a Miele service call for your client, please fill out the attached form and send along with the sales invoice to service@mieleusa.com. Miele will reach out within 24 hours to schedule service. Service will be through Complete Appliance. You can also call dealer support at 1-800-999-3790 to schedule service. 
There is also a guide attached with where to locate the serial numbers on each appliance.

Fairmont Updates

I wanted to pass along a few updates from Fairmont Designs:

1) Fairmont Designs will be closed this Thursday and Friday in observance for Thanksgiving.

2) Please find attached the updated “Product Bundle” special (for both the CA and  MS warehouses)

Fairmont  packaged together a vanity, top, sink and mirror (when available) at one low net price. There are no substitutions and stock is limited.  Please see the flyer for all the details and current stock levels (When placing an order note “California Warehouse Special” or Mississippi Warehouse” special on the PO to reduce confusion and delays in getting your order processed)

3) Also, in the attachment is the updated Overstock & Phase Out top Special (valid until 12/31/21)

4) Unfortunately, there has been production delays with the new 1544 Smithfield II and 1711/1712 Design Studio. As a result Fairmont now expects to receive the initial shipment in early March. 

Waterworks Holiday Schedule & Important Cutoff Times

In observance of the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday, the Waterworks Support Center and Distribution Center will be closing at 3:00PM ET on Wednesday, November 24th and will be closedthrough Friday, November 26th for the holiday.

Below are some important cutoff times to note:

·         Cutoff for overnight and expedited delivery is Wednesday, November 24th at 12:00PM ET

·         Expedited POs received prior to 12:00PM ET on Wednesday, November 24th will be processed.  All other POs will be entered the following week

·         All sample orders sent week of November 22nd will be entered the following week   

As a company we will maintain normal business hours on Monday, November 29th.   

Hansgrohe Holiday Schedule and Closures

Below is information regarding Hansgrohe closures and non-shipping days from Thanksgiving through New Years. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. Please let us know if you have any questions.  

***Please note-   2021 Pricing will expire on Monday, December 20, 2021.  Any order received after 11:59pm on Dec 20th will receive 2022 pricing.

Important Waterworks Product Updates

To All Boutique Partners:

With lead times lengthening due to growth rates in our industry and extended production times, we wanted to take a moment to provide you with some updates.

Due to global factory shortages of raw materials, parts, labor, increased energy costs in the EU and unprecedented logistics challenges, both in getting product here and through port, we are increasing our lead times on special order finishes in certain families.

Effective immediately, all special order finishes (non-stocked finishes) except Vintage Brass in the following families will have an extended lead time of 35 weeks:

Ø  Henry, RW Atlas, Easton, Foro, Aero, Isla, Boulevard, Canteen, On Tap and Calais

Please allow 16-20 weeks on all other families.

Vintage Brass: Due to unforeseen circumstances all Vintage Brass orders will be plated in the U.S.

Ø  Orders placed prior to 9/2021: If product was not available in in our BOC in Brass, orders were placed for Brass product to be plated. These orders have been escalated and estimated delivery dates will be on your shipping report.

Ø  Orders placed after 9/2021: Brass product has been and continues to be ordered for these projects. Product is due in April 2022 and will be sent for plating once received. The plating process will take approximately 12 weeks after that, putting delivery in August 2022.

Valves:

Ø  All Pressure Balance valves are currently in stock

Ø  Thermostatic:

o   GUTH37 Standard ¾” therm valve is in stock

o   GUTH47 Henry integrated therm valve delayed until 12/10

o   GUTH72 ½” integrated therm valve (Bond) due end of December

o   GUTH56 Standard ½” therm valve

Ø  Volume Controls

o   GUVC16 & 17 3/4” volume control valve due on 12/3 and 12/15. Can sub with ½” valves GUVC18 & 19.

Ø  Wall Mounted Faucets

o   GULV27 due 12/3

o   GULV25 arrived this week

o   GULV29 Single Hole Bond Delayed through February

How You Can Help:

Ø  Qualify your clients’ lead time expectations; determine when they need trim on site and guide them to make decisions that will meet their timeline.

Ø  Try and avoid specifying special order finishes unless your client has at least 26-35 weeks before needing trim on site.

Ø  Reach out to your Regional teams for assistance in quoting product that is readily available.

Ø  Encourage your clients to place orders with plenty of time to spare. Please do not promise to rush or expedite unless product is in stock at the time you place your order.

Ø  Please use the BP Portal and the expertise of your Regional teams to ensure you are specifying product that will meet your client’s time frame.

PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT FURNITURE GUILD – PRICE INCREASE EFFECTIVE 12/1/21

 Good Morning! Please note that TFG will release  an updated price list on their website effective December 1st. If you have clients that you are working with that have not committed to an order, this might help you close the sale before new pricing goes into effect.
 Due to an increase in price from some of the main material suppliers, the following will be effected: 

  • Decorative Hardware and Metal Accents – there will be a 5-10% increase in some, but not all
  • Metal Bases – 5% Increase (we have not had an increase in over 2 years)
  • Lighting, Electrical and Interior Options – There will be an increase on all, with the exception of Glass Dividers and the coordinating inserts
  • Guildcrete – Due to material costs, there will be a 10% increase (It needs to be more but we are hopeful things will settle down next year) Keep selling! It’s a great product!
  • Quartz & Stone Tops – There will be an increase
  • Fireclay – No change in pricing, however supply is an issue and we will be discontinuing the Fireclay tops once sell through what we have. (We currently have a bunch of 25” 3 hole tops)

 ** In preparation for the pricing increase, please note the expiration dates on all custom quotes. All newly requested custom quotes will have an expiration date of 11/30 unless it is requested that we go ahead and price with the new pricing. As soon as the new price list is available, we will send you the link.
