I wanted to personally update you on the status of your backordered Galley Hot & Cold Taps, (PO#’s P1133209, P1133407, and P1134207). In August, we advised the Dealer and Designer network through our new price book that we expected this product to be “available late 2021.” Given the information we had at the time, that is what we believed. Based on a series of updates we received from our suppliers late last week, their latest ETA is now March. The supply chain issues regarding the hoses are still ongoing and, in addition to that, we have now been advised that we have an unexpected delay with our Hot Tanks as well, again a supply chain issue. Overall, we have managed to handle these global supply chain issues extremely well as a company. Other than our Hot & Cold Tap, (and more recently, our two new Wash Tools where there is a plastics/resin supply issue), we have seen no material backorder situations since the beginning of the Covid pandemic and have been able to ship all Galley products in a timely manner.
The delays on this product are extremely frustrating and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you with your clients. We are pressing very hard for an earlier resolution. Once we do receive them from our factory, assuming your customers are willing to wait, we will ship them to you immediately with an additional 25% discount. In the interim, we would be happy to send you a Galley Hole Cover at no charge for your customers to use until the Hot & Cold Tap and Hot Tank are shipped to you.
