Production – Production times have stabilized.  Production times quoted in June are still effective.  We are hopeful that raw goods prices are stabilizing and we hope freight prices will begin to do the same.

Order Form – Please see attached the new fillable Word Order Form.  Whether your customer uses our form or not, they can use it as a template to make sure they haven’t forgotten anything when ordering.

*Price books – We have more price books on order.  We expect them in a few weeks.  You can let us know if you need more.

Alfresco Consumer Promotion Changes – Effective August 1st

This notification is being sent to inform you of a change in the Alfresco consumer promotion. 
 
The Alfresco promotion will be discontinued effective August 1st, 2021.  While the Alfresco team has been working feverishly to work through backorder concerns, we have still found ourselves in a situation that warrants this difficult decision being made due to an imbalance of supply and demand. 

Rebates for products ordered between April 1st and July 31st, 2021 will still be honored.  

Please dispose of any collateral used in your showrooms to promote this rebate program as soon as possible.

Fairmont Design news

Great news from Fairmont Designs:  

Fairmont is catching up on all back orders. Over the past 6 weeks they have both cut the backorder number in half and doubled the inventory on hand. While Fairmont is not completely caught up, they have filled over 95% of the open orders they had on April 1st. They expect this trend to continue!

Basco Price Increase Notice

As a result of recent increases in raw materials, Basco will be implementing a price increase across the majority of its product lines. In this atmosphere of rising raw material costs, we have worked diligently to absorb as much cost as possible through efficiencies in our business. Nevertheless, with recent supplier actions related to the pricing of aluminum, glass, packaging and petroleum-based products, we find it necessary to take this action. 

Effective August 1, 2021, Basco will implement a 10% price increase. Orders received before close of business July 31, 2021 will receive the current pricing. We have attached the updated Basco Core & RODA price books, and they are also available on our website. We expect updated price books to be mailed in mid-July, so that you will have them by August 1.

Watermark 9/1 Increase & Temporary Hold on Custom Orders

We hope everyone is safe and looking forward to the summer. We are hearing great news from all of you about business rebounding in all areas, and the outlook for 2021 and beyond looks very promising.
 
As you know, the combination of COVID-19 and the sudden growth in our industry has been accompanied by challenges meeting demand for many suppliers. We too, have been impacted, but we are pushing to keep lead times from growing and working to complete and ship orders in the time-frames you are familiar with. In order to facilitate this, we are temporarily suspending all new “custom” orders requiring engineering development time. We will continue to be your go-to source for custom mix-and-match finishes, handles, levers, etc. Please contact us if you are unsure if your order falls into that category.   
 
Also, historically we have had a price increase about every two years, and staying true to that schedule, we had an increase slated for January 2022. However, the increase in demand for raw materials, labor, and freight has also resulted in ever-increasing cost pressures for all of us. In order to keep up with these rising costs and maintain the quality and timely delivery of our products, we are implementing a price increase of approximately 8% (varying slightly by product) effective September 1, 2021. Please know that we have done our best to minimize the price change and have already absorbed much of the cost ourselves.
