This year and a half has brought great challenges for our industry. By working closely with our artisan partners throughout 2020 and 2021, we have avoided supply chain issues and have been able to provide Native Trails product reliably throughout the pandemic. Recently however, our artisan groups in Vietnam have experienced government mandated shutdowns due to a severe COVID outbreak. This shutdown lasted several weeks and impacted production.

We are pleased to report that those shutdowns are being lifted and our artisans are planning their imminent return to work. That said, you will shortly see extended lead times on the following products as our production catches up with the high level of demand:

• All NativeStone® product which includes our concrete bathtubs, kitchen, bath and bar/prep sinks, vanity tops and mirrors
• Solace vanities – all sizes and finishes
• Cuzco vanities – all sizes and finishes

We expect lead times on the impacted products to return to normal early in 2022.  Please check the dealer portal for lead times as data there is updated in real time.

The encouraging part of this is that our supply chain is intact and once we catch up to demand (providing there are no other COVID-related shutdowns), we expect to return to the strong lead times on the impacted items to which you have been accustomed.  We would also like to emphasize and assure you that with the exception of the above categories, we expect normal lead times on all other Native Trails product. Copper, Nickel, Murano, Precious Metals, Americana, and Vintners Collections continue to be in stock at high levels.

Inventory changes daily.  It is always  good to check stock before ordering.

I just wanted to take a minute to send you an update on where we are today with Zephyr and our overall ventilation inventory situation.

As you probably know, demand for our ventilation product has far outpaced our production capacity over the last several months. In order to correct this trend, Zephyr is making production changes to get back on track with our retail partners.

Beginning Jan. 1^st 2022, Zephyr will begin prioritizing production on our top-selling 60 SKUs (and derivative models). These models account for 80-85% of our total sales. The balance of the SKUs will become ‘extended lead-time’ . These ‘extended lead-time’ models will eventually be produced again, but the earliest expected ETA for them will be Q3 2022. While we are hopeful that time-line is conservative, we want to prepare all partners and consumers for that possibility.

The bright side is that Zephyr has confirmed that 95% of existing backorders on these ‘extended lead-time’ models will be filled prior to the production change. New orders however, will be impacted by this production change.

Attached is a list of models with upcoming MAP changes for the 10/11/21 price increase. On this sheet you will see the models that are marked ‘extended lead time’. My suggestion…

1)      Can we make your team aware that new sales on ‘extended lead-time’ models will not be fulfilled until Q3 2022?

2)      Can we either mark these models on the website as such, or temporarily remove them?

a.       Other e-commerce partners are going this route in order to avoid consumer issues.

Here’s your monthly update on Miele availability.  Right now it’s pretty strong.  Everything on the list is available within the next 60 days which is great to see.  The CVA6805’s are going to fly out the door so if you need them please get the order in ASAP.

As all of you are aware, the ocean transportation industry is still facing many challenges which have led to a longer than expected delivery time. The situation has no sign of clearing in the near future.

In anticipation of the Chinese New Year, we are asking our clients to submit all Non-Stocking orders by October 29^th. Our factory will be closed for CNY from January 31^st to February 6^th. This is a tentative schedule and could potentially change if there are any new COVID-19 quarantine policies that are enacted by the government. Also, China could potentially be adding regulations in regards to energy consumption. This could potentially cause additional delays during Q1 for factories across China.

We ask that communication is relayed to clients and encourage you to get your Non-Stocking orders in now that will be needed through Q1 of 2022.
