Loewen Dealer Notification 15.14

As per Dealer Notification 15.14 dated March 20, 2015

The switch over to white primer has begun!

As of Monday March 23rd, Loewen has switched over to a white primer as the standard.  During this transition some parts will have been milled and primed with the gray primer, while other parts will have been milled and primed with the white primer.  This means that there will be instances where within a package some windows / doors will be primed white and others will be primed gray.  There will also be individual components within the windows / doors that will have a mix of gray and white primer.

This isn’t a deficiency or error, but rather an outcome of timing and switch over from gray to white.   The mixing of colors should last no more than 1 -2 weeks from the March 23 cut over date.

Spring will arrive in 2 days!  I think we can all say GoodBye to Winter and embrace the much warmer weather at last…On the bright side, cold winter weather does help door sales tremendously!
Here is a list of upcoming introductions and their TARGET dates.  These dates, of course, can change due to transportation, manufacturing, marketing and other issues that arise.

Unfortunately, the Door Hardware full size and pocket book size literature has completely been depleted.  I have been assured that by the end of the month of March, beginning of April new updated versions (photo only) will become available once again thank goodness.
I have attached a guide you might want to print and keep in your Emtek binder.  This shows you how to write an order correctly for the different types of Emtek Hardware.  If you have new folks on your sales team, this is a great tool for them to have.
