COVID-19 – APRIL 5 UPDATE

Despite the many challenges associated with the ongoing pandemic, we are happy to report that our manufacturing facilities remain fully operational.  Unfortunately, over the last month past due orders have been on the rise due to factors beyond our direct control.  Cargo ships continue to endure one of the worst U.S. port bottlenecks in more than a decade. These delays cascade into longer turnaround times as containers are running 2 – 4 weeks late on average.  As a result, many component parts are in reduced supply putting additional strain on already limited resources.

Despite our best efforts to minimize the impact of these challenges, effective on all orders received on or after April 5th  modified lead times are as follows:

·         Newport Brass Valves – 1 Day

·         Newport Brass ReadyShip – 3 weeks

·         Newport Brass Non-Readyship – 6 weeks

·         Ginger – 1 to 2 weeks

Basco Communications Regarding Extended Lead Times

Thank you for your patience with us as we work through unprecedented supply chain challenges. We would like to share with you our plans for communicating with you regarding the models that are experiencing extended lead times so that you are properly informed with expected ship dates. Any single door order sent in that requires extended lead times will be properly dated upon entry with the current expected ship date. This date will be included on the order acknowledgement you receive. 
Any multiple door order sent in that contains a combination of units with both regular and extended lead times will be entered as two separate orders and will receive two separate order acknowledgements with their respective expected ship dates. 
Within a week of the initial order acknowledgement, Customer Service will seek to confirm via phone the acceptability of the extended lead time. If needed, they will offer alternatives with regular lead times. 
Approximately two weeks before the unit is to ship, Customer Service will again seek to confirm that the door on order is still desired. Twenty-four hours after this final contact, we will start the manufacturing process. 
Please contact our Customer Service (inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com, 800-45-BASCO) team with any questions or changes regarding your shower door. Our team will be happy to recommend a similar product that has regular lead times.

Miele G4000 to G5000 Dishwasher Transition/Update


Miele is full steam ahead on our planned transition in June to move our G4000 dish line to G5000.  Below is a chart of the models that match up with their corresponding previous model; and attached is the breakdown of the G5000 lineup and our entire lineup.  Please update any quotes.  Keep in mind demand is going to outweigh supply so getting orders in to secure product is crucial.
