With our new MasterCool Bottom Mounts launching in October we are starting to phase out a few current models based on availability and sell through.

Brushed Brass Available on Hoods

The acclaimed Brushed Brass accent, first introduced on the Viking 5 Series ranges, is now available on the 5 Series VWH and VCWH hoods. The new Brushed Brass Viking logo adds a refined touch that complements the range and other brass accents in the kitchen.

Orders are being accepted. Brushed Brass accents can be ordered on the 5 Series hoods in the Stainless Steel finish with standard lead times. The price adder for the brushed brass logo is $50. Like ranges, when ordering painted plus brushed brass, the lead time is 12 weeks.

5 Series Refrigeration Painted Panels & Upcoming Transition

Like with 7 Series refrigeration, if a customer would like to order a painted 5 Series refrigerator, the panel purchase will be separate from the (now) panel-ready unit. This includes all models: bottom freezer, all-refrigerator/all-freezer, and SxS. There is currently no change to how Stainless Steel is ordered in 5 Series.

Here’s where it’s a bit tricky: All 5 Series models except for the SxS will be transitioning into the new 7 Series refrigeration, and this category will simply be “integrated refrigeration” with Viking. We anticipate having inventory of the bottom-freezer model until December 2025 and inventory of the all-refrigerator/all-freezer models until September 2025. Therefore, if a customer would like to order a painted all-refrigerator/all-freezer model at this point, the order will now be for the new integrated models from Viking in panel-ready form with separate painted panels. Please see the below table.

Orders are being accepted. The lead time for a painted refrigerator is up to 12 weeks currently. Attached is a sheet about the new integrated refrigeration (launched in May).
