M-CORE 1213 | 2 Piece Cartridge Update

• The M-CORE 1213 replacement cartridge and 1213 cartridges within M-CORE 3-Series trim kits will begin transitioning production to the new 2-piece design in late June. This is a running change to all existing M-CORE 1213 replacement cartridges and M-CORE 3-Series trim kits.
• Cartridge updates designed to aid in the installation process include:
  • Combined cartridge and pressure balancing puck into one piece.
  • Pressure balance puck includes an O-ring retaining channel.
  • Pressure balance puck features hot and cold markings to aid in proper orientation.
• Model numbers for the 1213 replacement cartridge and all M-CORE 3-Series trim kits will remain the same. The transition to a 2-piece cartridge design is rolling out on the 1213 replacement cartridge and cartridges within the M-CORE 3-Series trim kits. Timing for transition of the 1212 replacement cartridge and 1212 cartridge within 2-Series M-CORE trim kits is anticipated in approximately two months and will be communicated as Moen prepares for their transition.

On 8/31 Baldwin Reserve will be expanding its portfolio.  I’ve attached information about the launch.  Baldwin CS is taking orders prior to the launch; however, it orders won’t ship until launch date.

I’ve also attached an excel file that has part numbers, pricing, and map pricing on several sku’s from this expansion.  This list only includes new part numbers and list pricing for some of the “predicted” popular knob/lever/rose combinations.   The list does not include any of the legacy knob/levers/roses.  Its very important to note that you can combine any of the new or legacy style. 

New catalogs are and will be available prior to launch.  Marketing team is working very hard to get this done well in advance of the 8/31 launch date.

After 8/31 all new Reserve product will move to the normal 5 business day lead time. 

Due to the varied MiniTank configurations over the years and the low replacement cost of these models, all replacement parts for MiniTanks are now obsolete.

Warranty for MinTank models are 2 years on parts and 6 years on leaks. If a customer experiences a defect within the warranty period, they will need to purchase a replacement unit and submit a RGA for credit of the defective.
