Baldwin Update

Over the last 18 months, the Baldwin commercial team has been focused on improving Estate service levels, investing in our inventory position to best support the 4,000+ SKU Quick Ship program and exploring options to improve the Estate portfolio to create the best customer experience possible. Today, we share these upcoming improvements with you.

To ensure we effectively balance our product offering and continue to bring the right selection and styles to market, we are announcing several product, category and finish discontinuances within Estate.  These discontinuances will be effective May 23, 2022 with all items available while supplies last after this date.

A more relevant and healthy Baldwin Estate mix will allow us to react faster in market with product improvements, new product introductions and enhanced service to continue improving the Baldwin customer experience. Miele Update: Generation 6000 Phase-Outs

The following units have been phased out in preparation for the launch of our Generation 7000 series in 2022. At this stage, all existing orders will be honored in the order that they were submitted to the dealer portal.   The key notes here are that all coffee units and microwaves are no longer available to be ordered.

During a recent training session on “Selling Value Not Price,” I pulled out this very old quote, “The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease.”

Just because the customer keeps asking for a discount, doesn’t mean you have to give in to their request. Remember that dropping your price also drops your credibility.

Use your options first such as reducing the price by removing something from the original offer.

Usually, when a customer squeaks about the price it does not stop. It becomes louder in other areas.

Sell value not price!

Phylrich Finish Discontinuations

Phylrich has decided to discontinue 10 seldom ordered finishes.  Plating these finishes in small volumes creates a bottleneck that results in extended lead times of our other more popular finishes.Any orders in house now will be completed but going forward no orders will be accepted for products in these finishes.  As follows:
