The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease!
During a recent training session on “Selling Value Not Price,” I pulled out this very old quote, “The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease.”
Just because the customer keeps asking for a discount, doesn’t mean you have to give in to their request. Remember that dropping your price also drops your credibility.
Use your options first such as reducing the price by removing something from the original offer.
Usually, when a customer squeaks about the price it does not stop. It becomes louder in other areas.
Sell value not price!
