KWC Update on Bath and Rep Change

Please see the announcement below from FRANKE announcing the discontinuation of KWC BATH PRODUCTS effective immediately.

Also it is my understanding that effective January 2019 they will be incorporating KWC Kitchen Products into the FRANKE brand.

Effective 12/31/18 The Davis Sales Group will no longer represent KWC. The FRANKE representative will take over the line.

Franke Kitchen Systems and KWC values your continued support of our leading products. As we continue to better service our customers with a more streamlined approach to our KWC product line, we find it necessary to discontinue and phase out some of our product lines.

We acknowledge the obligation to inform our customers of the intent to exit products to enable you the ability to prepare for alternatives.

KWC will phase-out its small range of bath products and concentrate its efforts in the kitchen space.

The bath and shower culture phase out has begun effective October 1st, 2018. It is our intent to still provide Service Support and spare parts for these products.

Price Book Error – Barn Door Hardware, page 145, 148-149

Please review the following message re: barn door specs and pricing. The initial run of October 2018 Emtek Door Hardware Price Books includes several errors.

On Page 145:

The drywall thickness specs for the Anti Crush Plastic Spacers should be ½” and 5/8”, not 3/8” as currently stated.

On Page 148-149:

The Double Door option (DD) for additional hanger kits in Stainless Steel (SS) should be $450, not $250.

These changes have been applied to the Price Book PDFs on the website and will be adjusted for the next round of printed Price Books. Please also see revised addendum. I will add both to the Sales Rep Folder on box for your convenience.

Please make copies of the corrections and place in your binder. Thank you and so sorry for the confusion.

Important Tariff Notice

Dear Valued Customer,

As you may be aware, on September 24th the United States Government imposed a third round of tariffs on Chinese imports.

Read more about this policy change on the United States Trade Representative websit e.

Emtek has been working hard to mitigate the impact of these tariff taxes on our business. Unfortunately, we will not be able to absorb the full burden of this new tax, and will need to implement a tariff surcharge on all affected products. We are currently in the process of analyzing which products will be impacted and will follow up with additional details very soon.

We continue to explore all avenues that will allow us to minimize the tariff surcharge for our customers. However, there remains much uncertainty in these new regulations and as a result, if the situation changes we may increase, decrease, or remove the applied surcharge on applicable products.
