Liebherr CS-1400 67″ tall

I just wanted to make everyone aware that we have we have a strong supply of both the CS-1400 and CS-1400RIM refrigerators. Hopefully this can answer the call to some stock shortages we’ve seen in this footprint, especially with projects that call for this size. These units are 67” tall. They feature an eye catching stainless steel back wall in the fresh food compartment. You’ll find them on page 8 of the attached price guide. Reach out if you have any questions and enjoy the rest of the week.

Phylrich Lead Times

Please note that effective immediately lead-times for Phylrich products are categorized by finish as follow:

026 Polished Chrome015 Satin Nickel014 Polished Nickel004 Satin Brass040 Satin (matte) Black4-6 weeks
All other finishes 8 weeks
This change is being implemented to better manage lead times by maintaining a 4 to 6 weeks designation for higher volume finishes and increasing the lead time slightly on the more exotic finishes that are often more time consuming to produce.

Americh Updates

  • Urban Apron pricing
     – The storage Apron has been getting great buzz.  The simplicity of it seems to be confusing some folks.  The panel operates much like a medicine cabinet.  You press it to open and it closes securely with a magnet closure.  It’s a unique but practical and simple idea.  This customizing option is $895 list in addition to the cost of a regular panel apron.
  • Brass Sawyer – We wanted to confirm that the brass surround is a satin, not polished, living finish.
  • Painted baths – As you have seen, we highlight our color painting capacity in the new catalog.  We can paint both the interior as well as the exterior.  The finish is glossy.

We do not currently have a matte finish.

  • Pasadena House – The Pasadena House is an annual charity event in Pasadena, CA.  Americh provided the bath for the master.  A couple of photos are attached for you to use on your social media. You can also see it on Americh’s and Walker Zanger’s Instagram pages.  Walker Zanger (the major sponsor of the house) hosted a Zoom with the Designer and highlighted the master bathroom/bedroom to the 70 A & D attendees on the call. The bathroom is beautiful. The house is not yet open to the public but the design community is getting sneak peaks into the house.

  • DPHA invitation to participate – Americh and 30+ other companies are participating in the DPHA Conference Showcase this year.  The Conference is getting a lot of attention that it might not have gotten before because of the virtual presentation.  The cost to attend is very low and of course requires no travel expenses.  Member companies – showrooms, manufacturer customer service teams and rep groups – are participating at a higher rate than ever before because more of their team members can participate.  The first link is a behind the scenes look at what a virtual Conference looks like (you can fast forward to 3:58 to go directly to the exhibit hall).  It’s a very cool concept.  Check it out.  The second is a link to the Conference Prospectus and registration info.

  • New catalog – We are still hoping to have an initial quantity of the catalog printed soon.  At this point we are looking at mid to late October.

I’m Too Poor To Do Things Cheap!

Updates from Marvin Montgomery
Sales Tip #508 From The Sales Doctor
I’m Too Poor To Do Things Cheap!
This statement was said to a salesperson after the price was quoted for an expensive product. “I’m too poor to do things cheap so I will get this one.” Two things had to happen early on in the conversation. The Salesperson sold value and not price from beginning to end which meant the customer realized that an investment was being made in a quality product that was going to last.

Only the wealthy can afford to buy the same thing twice because they went cheap the first time around.

Don’t allow your customer to fall into that trap. Impress on them the importance of doing it right the first time. It’s an investment not a cost! You can also pass along this quote from one customer to another.

Let’s All Sell Value and Not Price!
