Basco: Extended Lead Times Expected for 6150/7150 Sliders in Chrome

Important Update!  Please be aware that extended lead times may occur for our 6150/7150 Deluxe Bypass models in Chrome, due to a recent increase in demand. If this occurs, we expect to be back up to speed before the end of the month. Deluxe 6150/7150 models are still available with regular lead times in Brushed Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze and all other painted finishes.”
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Should extended lead times be required, we will expedite any backorders as quickly as possible.

Our satin brass finish will now match throughout all of our lines. The Adjustable collection boards now shipping will have the new satin brass. If you have clients ordering from existing boards, please make them aware of this change and direct them to the SB finish on the Affinity or Skyline boards. If you need a sample of the new satin brass base, let us know, and we will be happy to send one.

Emtek Build & Ship Forecast

Please READ the following information so I might help you plan correctly going forward:
*    Emtek has always been proud of their ability to build and ship within 1-3 days.  Due to the increased demand starting in June 2020, orders have increased substantially and as we head toward winter, orders & high demand continue to grow, which is quite normal.
*    Emtek holds the loyalty of everyday dealers very high.  Meaning, currently, Emtek has had many opportunities to accept one off “large project work” orders, that would diminish inventory levels substantially.  Emtek prefers to not take that work currently in order to maintain inventory to be able to build our loyal dealers orders during this Very unusual time.*  UPS is another concern at this time.  We are seeing order delivery times being extended beyond our 3 day air freight free due to  the high demand UPS is experiencing and this will only worsen as we get closer and closer to the holidays I fear.  Of course, Emtek has no control over what UPS is able or unable to do.*    Be aware……if you want to pay for Next Day Air or 2nd day air WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER, Emtek will build and ship as quickly as possible.HOWEVER, IF YOU SUBMIT THE ORDER THEN TRY TO CHANGE TO EXPEDITED SHIPPING, the build time will NOT be changed, only the shipping time once the order is built.*    I feel it is very important to be honest and give you information so you can plan ahead to help you keep your customers satisfied with deliveries etc..  I would honestly plan for orders to arrive 3-4 weeks after your order is placed.The good news, Emtek has planned several new product introductions between now and the end of the year.  Please watch for my emails on these beautiful new products!

When your customer says, “Your price is too high,” “Let me think about it,” or “I’m going to get other quotes,” where does your thought process immediately go?

What you are thinking at that moment will determine what you do next.

If it’s “Oh no! I’m going to lose this sale!” your feelings will be desperation and panic, which means you will begin talking yourself out of the sale.

However, if you are in control of your thoughts, that also means you are in control of your feelings / emotions. You will respond with silence, a question, or paraphrasing in order to get clarity so you can provide a customized response that will address their true concern.

Controlling your thoughts will control your feelings!

As many of you are already aware LG has recently transitioned their front load laundry line as well as added in their new top load washer with agitator into the lineup.  Attached is the new laundry product guide outlining all of these new and exciting models. 

Several Key Notes on the New Laundry:

·         All of the core front load line has been transitioned to the new models outlined below and in the attached step up logic chart.

·         All of these new front load models are now available to ship from our OH warehouse

·         The New Top Load Agitator model- WT7305CW & WT7305CV uses the same dryer as the 7300’s (non-agitator model) match- DLE7300/ DLG7301

·         These New Agitator models are also now available in our OH warehouse

·         Coming in Nov- LG’s new Wash Tower- full size stacked laundry unit with center controls
