We are providing an update to our service levels.

As of today, truck shipments are averaging 11 days’ lead time. Some are going sooner, a few are taking longer than 11 days. We have implemented several changes, and these improvements should continue to shorten our lead times.

Small parcel orders are averaging 14 days’ lead time. These orders will be the focus this week now that our improvements on truck orders are going smoothly. We hope to get small parcels down to 11 days by the end of the week, then continue to get back to 7 days or less.

Your patience with our service levels has been appreciated, as well as your loyalty to the Sioux Chief brand. We know many wholesalers have made adjustments on reorder points to keep our products in the hands of the contractor. Thank you.

I have attached the inventory report which is still showing excellent availability in all categories. There are a few models that are running behind and I have made not of that below. With a little flexibility we should be able to get the customer a product that does everything they need and want with very quick turnaround. We currently have the kitchen package promotion running and the peace of mind promotion. Those will continue through the end of the year (click the links below for information on the Miele website). We will be starting new promotions next Monday the 13^th. I have attached a document outlining those promotions. I will add links as those go live next week.

** Please note the WXF660 and TXI860 are now showing a backorder of about a month. The WXI860 is also starting to run low and may be in a backorder situation soon. The base models and new black ring models are good and can be a great option for someone looking to add TwinDos to their washing machine or add a glass door to their dryer.

I have also included a tab with the refrigeration available in the NJ warehouse. The color coordination will be the same as above with the ETAs being to the NJ warehouse and not to the Chicago warehouse.

The warranty would start when installed in the Customer’s home.  (1 year warranty, no cosmetic coverage, with one additional year with FCI)

We do not have the exact reason each unit is in Seconds.  However, the following is from Subzero regarding the legacy Classic units on hand:

“These units are deemed Factory Second due to a slight, non-repairable cosmetic defect (typically an interior dent/scratch on a non-replaceable component or feature). All Factory Seconds must pass testing to validate functionality of the system.”

As a reminder these units are 25% off displaying dealer cost. They are estimated to take a few weeks to ship.
