All faucet models currently equipped with 665 MVP handles will be upgraded to our new 765 MVP handle design. All faucets with Naiad cartridges will also be upgraded to MVP cartridges with the new 765 handle design. The change will affect faucet models in the following base families: 324, 333, 339, 389, 404, 405, 732, 733, 748, 770, 786, 797, 802, 807, 844, 857, and 895.
The 765 upgrade brings several new improvements focused on aesthetics and functionality.
- Vandal resistance is significantly improved by threading the handle screw directly into a new actuator stem. This secures the handle from the top and provides a strong, cohesive union between the handle and stem.
- The new design incorporates our proven square tapered stem technology.
- The contour of the new index buttons matches the handle to form a tight and secure fit and prevent too-easy removal.
- The new design approach leads to a more secure handle and a new, fresh look.
Faucets with 665 handles and actuators will continue to be available for existing job quotations while we transition to the new design. Repair parts for installed metering faucets will continue to be available for 5 years following the introduction of the 765, and kits to retrofit existing 665 installations with the new 765 design will be available at product launch.
