AMI LEAD TIMES & SHIPPING UPDATES

Good Afternoon All,
I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July!  AMI Lead times are now at 3-4 weeks with the exception of shower bases.  In most cases we are able to get bases made in 2 +/- weeks or better.  Hopefully that may be helpful to some.  If you would like shower bases sooner on your next shower order, please note it and we will move forward with separate delivery/pick up dates.  It is also very helpful to include a need by date on your orders if possible.
We are updating our shipping instructions for our warehouse and office.  Please let us know of any special shipping instructions you have;
 Do you require crating of shower bases or wall panels if we deliver to you directly?  *Tops are always automatically boxed.  If you do require crating, please be sure to add the cost to your purchase orders.  Crating prices can be found on page 30 of our 2018 catalog.
 Do you require a phone call before we deliver on our regularly scheduled delivery days?
 Reminder: Be sure to include all information for job site deliveries ; contact person, phone number(s), and address.  There also needs to be someone available to accept and help unload material unless a 2 man delivery is requested ahead of time.
 When storing your material, please be sure to keep material in a cool level place until it is time for installation.  If material sits more than a few weeks with the plastic still on, some of the lighter colors may discolor.

Viking pricing

Good Morning,

I mentioned last month that Viking was having a modest price increase effective August 6, 2018.  I have attached the new excel price list and will be getting the new PDF version price lists to you in the next several weeks.  Listed below is a schedule of when the orders for current pricing and when it has to be shipped.

August 6, 2018 – Viking price change

August 6, 2018 – all new orders placed by 12:00 noon will receive current pricing, but must be shipped by August 31, 2018

August 6, 2018 – all new orders received after 12:00 noon will receive new pricing.

August 31, 2018 – all open orders with current pricing must be shipped or pricing will be changed to the new prices.

During your needs analysis, make sure you are including questions that will eliminate potential objections from surfacing when you are attempting to close the sale.

Some of the most common objections center on price, postponement, competition or change, so you need to prepare open-ended questions that will determine if there may be a level of resistance in any of these areas.

Before you conclude your first meeting, make sure you are asking these questions. Don’t wait until it’s time to close to discover that your price is too high, they are getting additional quotes, they are not ready to move forward or they decided to stay with their existing provider.

The right questions will eliminate objections and make it easier to close the sale.

On the way home, I asked him for feedback on what he thought about Dad’s presentation. He immediately replied, “Dad you are just teaching people how to be nice.”

Waterstone Extends Customer Service Hours

New Hours for Customer Service

First of all, Happy Independence Day from Waterstone. To our Valued Customers,

As of today we are no longer able to supply the Roman Tub Filler for our Vantage collections.  All model numbers affected are listed at the bottom of this email.

Fortunately, we still have all other models from the the beautiful Vantage collections including the floor mount tub-filler (models 7050EY, 7050ET & 7050EC are still available).

Please understand that this unfortunate decision was not our preference.
