As you all are aware, last year we rewrote our freight program. The main intention was to simplify and make it easier for our dealers to sell Barclay Products. By all measurements, the new program has been a success. While the intention was to set it and forget it, after a full year of implementation, as well as changes in various market conditions, we need to make some adjustments to the program. These changes will go into effect on May 1st.
There are two main changes:
- Purchase orders with a net cost of $2,500 – $3,500.00 will now be subject to a flat $150.00 freight charge. PO’s of $3,500+ will be FFA.
- Adjustment and clarification of drop ship / residential shipments, for both ground and freight shipments. This is for orders shipped to a location that is not a registered dealer location.
One other note regarding shipping, if you have not already noticed, we did add the shipping category to the product page of each item on our website.
