We are just about to close out the 2014 year and the NAECA III regulatory changes are right around the corner (April 2015). Attached you will find new specification sheets for the residential gas products that will be changing to meet these new requirements. For the most part you will see that the gas product has moved to 2” foam cavities with a few exceptions, one being some 1” foam models will remain in the product offering but they will require a blanket to be installed to meet the changing efficiencies for NAECA III. These models will be shipped from the factory with a blanket in the carton. You will see the residential electric spec sheets on a second correspondence.
These specification sheets attached, do not cover all residential gas products, as some of our product lines have Energy Factors well over the minimum required efficiency to meet NAECA III regulations. Current Energy Star Atmospheric Vent & Power Vented model lines are not affected by this minimum efficiency increase so current specification have not changed for these models.
