I have some news regarding Baldwin Estate’s production facility in Nogales Mexico from Aaron Brueck’s (Baldwin National Sales Manager). I’ve underlined some key points in his update.
“Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we navigate the COVID-19 disruption in our Nogales facility. As of last week, we have been granted access to begin the re-opening process. As we navigate this process and start ramping up headcount over the next few weeks, we are targeting early July for the first orders to begin shipping. While we prioritize the open orders, we need to once again extend the due dates on many open orders to reflect this re-opening timeline. However, as priority starts moving, many of these due dates will be pulled back in to reflect the prioritization process. All newly placed orders will continue to receive a 12 week lead time, however this should be reduced soon as production picks up. Once again, thank you for your patience as we work through this process, and please continue to direct any questions to your Baldwin Sales Representative or to the Customer Relations Team.

I know this has been a long extend shut down on Estate products. The Baldwin team is sorry for the delays on orders that have been in system since March, but excited to have some light at end of tunnel.
If you have open orders in the system please feel free to give me a call as I have open order reports for every single order. If you all have customers unable to wait any longer I may have some alternatives suggested products.

Hello, as we are in uncertain times around the country, Bosch has decided to limit the sku’s that we are going to produce in the factory until further notice. We will make the Discontinued models on this list again but for now we want to make sure that we are concentrating on the models that are the most popular and we stay out of backorder situations due to limit staff at factory. There will be a Viking Price increase effective Monday June 1,2020. This was originally planned for April 1,2020 but was postponed till June 1, 2020 due to COVID-19. Middleby Residential will honor the current Viking pricing for all orders received between now and the end of business May 31st and shipped no later than Monday, June 1, 2020. Once Inside Sales has entered and released any orders received over next weekend, the new pricing files will be uploaded into Syspro. If an item is in stock and the dealer delays delivery until after June 1st, pricing will default to the June 1st pricing. The only exception to this are legitimate items on back-order from the factory (e.g. exclusive colors, etc.).
Back-ordered item is received by Middleby Residential, the dealer will be notified to schedule delivery within 7 – 10 days. Items not released within this timeframe are subject to the June 1st price increase.
