As one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of custom shower doors, Basco has joined forces with Michigan-based GLASSource, a premier tempered glass and shower door solutions provider.
This strategic partnership expands Basco’s corporate footprint, providing broader regional services, and additional product offerings. Furthermore, this acquisition increases Basco’s overall capacity with a total of three tempering and fabricating locations in Ohio, North Carolina, and now Michigan, providing services to the Eastern United States.

Lead Time & Supply Chain Update
Lead times for the following bypass enclosures in Brushed Nickel (BN), Brushed Bronze (BB), and Brushed Gold (BG) are improving and have been reduced to 10 days.   Classic semi-frameless sliding tub and shower doors (3400/3500)Infinity semi-frameless sliding tub and shower doors (4400/4500)Deluxe framed sliding tub and shower doors (6150/7150)As the needed material continues to arrive, we will return these models to their normal five day lead time as quickly as possible.
 
We also need to inform you that small parts/UPS are currently shipping in approximately five days. We hope to return this to the normal 2-day lead time very soon. 

Finally, delays are also possible for models & hardware in Polished Nickel (PN). Please contact Customer Service before ordering to determine the current lead time and availability for this finish option.

Pinnacle – Personnel Change in the Midwest

It is with regret that I announce the resignation of Terri Solinger from Pinnacle Sales Group.  Terri has been an important part of our Pinnacle family, and we will all miss her energy, enthusiasm and professionalism.  Our team wishes her all the best.   

Terri’s resignation is effective January 22nd. We have hired a new team member to cover the territory and will announce that information in the next few days.

Americh Update January 2022

Happy New Year!  I received an update from Americh and wanted to share with you what is coming in the first quarter 2022.

New Products 2022 – Based on where the product currently is in development and marketing preps, we’ve divided the new product releases up into groups.

End of 1st qtr – Neena w/flat surround, solid surface shelf, solid surface shower bases.  More to follow.

New web site – The launch of the new web site has been pushed back to February 1.  As with many big projects, as we work through the details, more ideas evolve. 

New chromotherapy lights – Americh will be switching to a new version of the chromotherapy lights.  They will no longer have chrome trim.  The whole light is clear, so no more trim matching, and the LEDs are more powerful.  We should begin phasing these in in February.

o        Individual Soaker tubs/Shower Bases              4-5 Weeks        

o        System tubs – Whirlpool, Air tubs, Serenity     5-6 Weeks        

o        Individual ROC tubs Individual soaker tubs     5 Weeks   

o        Individual Acrylic freestanding tubs                  7-9 Weeks    

o        Individual Gelcoat freestanding                         8-10 Weeks 

o        Stock orders and Projects                                    Will be quoted on a case by case basis 

Interesting installation – Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA has been using 2 Beverly tubs in their training center for many years.  They just recently bought 2 more to replace the originals that have been in constant use.  It may not be the most beautiful installation but it does speak to how sturdy the tubs are and how well the whirlpool systems perform.

Architectural Products Award – If you follow us on social media, you may have seen that the Urban Apron won an Innovative Product award.  You may see more about this as the Press Release circulates!
