I wanted to reach out and let you all know that I will not longer be your Miele rep moving forward.  This is definitely bittersweet for me as it has been truly amazing working with all of you.  I’m going to be moving to Nashville and taking over national accounts in the southeast market.  And I honestly have to say I wouldn’t have gotten this promotion without all the support you’ve shown me over the last three years.  Alex Weems will also be transitioning off your account as he got promoted to a new role as well.

That being said I’d like to introduce you to your new Miele sales managers, Chris Severs and Kerry Smith.  Kerry will be taking over the day-to-day, he’s familiar with your account and excited for the opportunity.  Kerry has been with Miele for two years now and done a great job supporting his accounts.  Chris Severs will be your district manager, a new position for Miele, that will now allow for additional support.  Chris has been with Miele for thirteen years and has a vast knowledge, especially on the vacs side.  Kerry and Chris will both be great resources in continuing to support and grow Edelman.  Kerry will be visiting Edelman in both Bedford and Westlake in the very near future.  Below is Kerry’s and Chris’ contact info.

We want to confirm that the lead times from November are holding with one exception.  Individual acrylic freestanding tubs are taking 1 week longer out of our CA facility. 

Lead times –                                                            

o        Individual Soaker tubs/Shower Bases              4-5 Weeks        

o        System tubs – Whirlpool, Air tubs, Serenity     5-6 Weeks        

o        Individual ROC tubs Individual soaker tubs     5 Weeks   

o        Individual Acrylic freestanding tubs                  7-9 Weeks NC    8-10 Weeks CA

o        Individual Gelcoat freestanding                         8-10 Weeks 

o        Stock orders and Projects                                    Will be quoted on a case by case basis 

Pricing is also holding.  We are continuing with the October 2021 price book.  We’ve continued to receive price increases but the pace seems (seems) to have slowed.  We will do what we can to hold on to current pricing as long as we can.
