Blanco Extended Lead Times

Here is an updated critical SKU list from Blanco for orders as of 9/13/2021. As mentioned previously, Blanco expects lead times to remain the same if not get worse over the next 60 days. They do feel that the addition to the Toronto plant and the new molds (still in progress) and along with Germany shifting more production to USA model sinks that we can start to see improvements in November. Sorry to deliver more extended lead times but I do believe this information can help your sales force save time.

Miele Appliance Availability

FRANKE Granite – Good info!

We continually receive news that one of our main competitors is back ordered on most of their top selling granite sinks till late December/January.  

FRANKE has granite sink stock and containers coming in weekly. Our stock levels are good!

Take-aways regarding Franke Granite Sink program:

  • Stock Levels are good.
  • Franke has Matte Black Granite in-stock (Blanco’s Coal Black not available until January)
  • Franke is the only granite sink manufacturer that includes Sanitize – see benefits of Sanitize below.
  • New Maris family of sinks, listed below, are in stock ready to ship. Offered in drop-ins, undermount super single and a 12” deep utility.
  • Orders over $1500 ships free of charge. Under $1500 is $25 flat shipping rate, except fireclay sinks. Two fireclay sinks ship for $150.
  • Franke has a nice spiff program.
  • Franke is not sold in big box retail stores, Franke has gotten out of this business. Focusing on wholesale and showrooms customers only.
  • Franke has a strong internet policy. It is Unilateral Price Program which protects your margins.

Blanco Critical Item List

Not great news but want to be sure you are aware of these Blanco products that are on very extended lead times. Blanco wanted to share this list so that you can be aware and not be surprised.

We had a virtual meeting last week with Blanco and they are doing things to improve delivery. They have been working on an addition at the Toronto plant and adding more molds to increase production. They have also added more production ion Germany dedicated to the USA. The unfortunate part is they feel we won’t see this improvement until probably November as it takes time to make these changes and get the product here but they do feel it will get better. We just need to get through the next 60 days.
