New Email Communication Launches 3/1: Advance Ship Notice

As a means of providing additional proactive communication to our customers, Basco will be adding an “Advance Ship Notice” (ASN) on March 1^st for every order when it is ships from the Basco facility. This procedure will apply initially to our plumbing channel customers only. The ASN will be emailed in PDF format and will provide all relevant shipping details so you can track your order with the selected carrier. Should your order not have an email associated, there will be fax sent with this information.

This Advance Ship Notice example illustrates what the ASN will look like and the information it will include, such as:

• Ship dated and Entered Date – when it leaves the Basco facility on a carrier
• Carrier Name / Company
• Tracking Number
• Bill of Lading Number
• PO Number
• Backorder Count, if applicable

Please review the ASN example document with highlighted call outs and contact your Basco sales representative with any details or questions.

Now Adding “Revised Date” to Price List Covers

As a way to more clearly communicate the latest version of Basco price lists, we have added a revised date to the cover of every price book moving forward. See line #3 in the below image.
