For Painted finishes, “Paintable” wood species is now available in Bertch Bath!
What is Paintable?
Paintable is a combination of Premium-Grade HDF and/or Paint-Grade Maple to create the smoothest and most stable surface for Painted finishes. Your Bertch Bath vanity cabinetry will be crafted from the ideal material for a smooth, stable painted finish.
Why Paintable?
Birch wood species will exhibit subtle graining through the painted finish, whereas “Paintable” will be smooth and more stable at the joints with less natural expansion and contraction. For noticeable graining, Oak is ideal for a painted finish that highlights the grain of Oak. But for smooth painted finishes, we recommend “Paintable” wood species for the ideal combination of smooth surfaces and stable joinery.
When Paintable?
“Paintable” wood species is now available (and recommended) as a wood species selection for painted finishes in BOO (Bath Online Ordering) and 2020 ordering systems.
