Just wanted to outline Miele’s RA procedures and policies.
When you need to do an RA:
- Fill out the attached form
- Send form and photos to DealerSupport@mieleusa.com and CC myself
- In the subject line please start with “Return Request” and then add whatever you need to after
All RA requests must be accompanied by the Returns Form AND pictures. If we do not receive the form and pictures, an RA will not be issued.
To clarify what we need pictures of:
- Never Opened Product:
- Picture of the product label with clear shot of SN
- Pictures of the other three sides of the unit
- Picture of the unit show properly packaged
- In original packaging
- On a standard shipping pallet
- Strapped to said shipping pallet
- Opened Product/Concealed Damage:
- Pictures of ALL of the above PLUS
- Picture of the concealed damage
- Picture of SN tag from the unit itself (if unit was completely unpackaged)
One of the main purposes of the pictures is to determine and confirm any restocking fees that may not need to be applied. For reference here the restock fee table. When our returns warehouse gets the product back they give it a grade.
