BlueStar Refrigeration Update

Good Morning,

I wanted to reach out on our Built-In Refrigeration. We are now moving them on a regular basis and customers seemed thrilled with all the features they receive on our units.

Lead Times Now 4 weeks on the new French Door and all Single Door Built in Units. This should improve in the future as well. Lead Time guide for all units is attached.

Aspects of the refrigerator that I think could help sell this model:

  1. Size 84in tall 36in wide model with the same spec at the similar style from SubZero. (if you need specs just ask)
  1. We offer more options with 750+ colors, including the optional top section grill painted which no one can offer, ten metal trim handles as well (use Build Your Own tool online and have them put in your email and name to get the pricing  back to your attention)
  1. If you talk capacity we have a larger amount at 22.5 cubic but I it’s more about how much we can fit compared to Sub and I would explain it as one extra shelf available due to how deep and flexible our shelving is compared to others.
  1. The inside being all S/S instead of white plastic it will not only look nicer but hold temperature much better especially when the door is opened.
  1. I call our lighting theater dramatic lighting it really shows well against the SS and heavy solid glass.
  1. The heaviness of the shelves is top quality feel the difference.  The flexibility is excellent with easy movement adjustments. You can fit wine bottles with ease.
  1. I like the Nano technology aspect. If you spill water in the center and you see it stay there and not run to the edge.
  1. We have a dual compressor system with one focused on the refrigerator cooling and one for the freezer.  We utilize a thermal break with separate compartments to allow for really impressive food preservation. We use a charcoal filter which is near the top and can be replaced easily for about $20 where Sub is near $75 and have mercury in their system which I have heard customers online complain about. Our filter is easy to take out by the fan at the bottom. Sub I have been told is more difficult as drawers need to come out.
  1. We have run tests on the fruit in compartments that are on display with the result being up to three weeks fresh this worked for lettuce as well.
  1. A major trait of our product is that we can fit a standard commercial catering tray and they can use our refrigerator, freezer, 30in wall ovens and 30in+ ranges all to fit these standard pans. It’s an excellent selling point and one I focus on majorly with all our line as I try to tie it together. Its located in the refrigerator on a glide out glass tray. I have seen customers purchase our refrigerator on this feature only which is amazing but they seem to really like it no matter their situation.
  1. I explain we are plus or minus one degree at all times accurate this is controlled in part by the SS walls similar to what hospitals and commercial applications use.
  1. I explain we have an articulating hinge similar to what Miele uses very solid and easy to open without hitting the surrounding cabinets.
  1. Our controller is intuitive and simple to use. You can turn off the ice maker too which comes up sometimes. It is a LED touch screen.
  1. The water filter icon will flash when you need to change it also. From my ice maker days at other companies not getting cleaned can be a huge issue. I feel this is a good aspect of our unit to let you know what its needed.
  1. We have a Sabbath mode.
  1. SS toe kick where most have black.
  1. The Warranty on refrigeration is 2 full/ 5 sealed/ 13 limited and Cooking Warranty is NOW 2 years parts and labor as that has changed from the past.
  1. We service our unit straight from our factory with our guys doing the work in most cases. Either way the engineers that built the units are located at our factory. Also we have a in unit computer that can track error codes and send that tracking information back to the servicer at the factory to help identify any issues that may occur easier. Similar to how car companies track their diagnostics.
  1. I would like to add that it is being designed by engineers with 150 years of combined experience in Iowa. American made each one is being tested and looked through. We will have full production switched to Blandon PA soon some of the items are already being made there. This will allow us to be able to manufacturer them much quicker in the future but the demand has been really heavy lately.
  1. Lastly this is just the start we recently introduced the French Door model 36in built in. We will have more sizes and models to come in the future.

Most I have found that are shown our unit compared to Sub or others end up choosing ours for all they get feature and benefit wise. Now with the quicker lead time I know this could be a nice addition to your lineup offered to clients.
