April Announcement: Company Update


We have great news to share with you that is long overdue. Despite the many unfounded rumors, Ronbow is very much here to stay and will be providing you and your customers with beautiful, well-priced bathroom products for years to come.

Although we had a huge delivery into the US in March, this fell short of our own production goals. Since then, our factories have been working around-the-clock to get product back to the US market. More containers are already in route scheduled to arrive in early May, a very significant delivery of product is scheduled to arrive in mid-May, and weekly deliveries will continue thereafter until we are back up to full strength.

I apologize to everyone that I did not explain some of the reasons for the production delays sooner. Some of the explanation is very personal. In addition to factory coordination issues and over-expansion of our product line, my family realized that it was time for my father to retire from the Ronbow factory leadership. I know many of you are also, as I am, dealing with aging parents who are transitioning to the next phase of their lives. Succession planning is never easy.

We are now thankfully past those issues, and Ronbow is 100% dedicated to regaining its reputation as the consistent and reliable supplier we have always been. My leadership team and I are speaking with all our Representative Agencies this week to lay out the details of our recovery plan going forward including:

  • At the end of this week, our Sales Reps will get a weekly updated shipping schedule for backordered items arriving in the US regularly from early May 2018 through late June 2018.
  • Identification of 200+ core vanities and associated product (countertops and sinks) for stock replenishment over the same time period.
  • Identification of other products scheduled to arrive between July and August 2018.
  • New “stock program” sales tools for you and your teams on core products.
  • My regular travel between the US and China to oversee operations across Ronbow and keep production flowing smoothly.
  • A new National Sales Director to work with our team of Representatives to ensure showrooms have what they need going forward (I will send out a separate letter regarding this).

In just a few more weeks, the product will be in your hands again. Thank you for your business, dedication to Ronbow through this transition.
