Although no one likes to write this letter, this year is proving to be extremely challenging for all of us due to the rising materials’ prices and the escalation of business costs. Häfele America Co. works diligently to maintain pricing for an extensive period of time and avoid raising prices for as long as possible. Unfortunately, our ability to absorb cost increases has now exceeded a reasonable limit. As a result, Häfele America Co. will implement a general price increase effective Sunday May 21, 2017. Although most prices will increase we will not implement a fixed percentage price adjustment across the range of products. Our detailed evaluation affords you the benefit of a careful analysis and minimal effect, where and to the extent specific cost increases have been impacted. While most items did go up, we are confident you will find our prices to be market appropriate. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
On Monday April 24, 2017, our new price list will be available via printable format (.pdf) and/or electronic upload (.csv, .xlsx) and you can request either from our sales team or customer service.
