Baldwin Estate and Reserve Price Increase Detail

Good afternoon.

I wanted to pass along a Baldwin update for a price increase on May 1, 2017 for Baldwin Estate and Baldwin Reserve.  Please see communication from Baldwin’s Marketing team below.

I’ve also attached the price increase notification and the new list price in excel format for Estate and Reserve.  Each excel list has 2 tabs.  First tab has the new pricing for May 1^st.  Second tab has the list of hardware that is being discontinued.  The final attachment has a detail description and pictures of the sku’s being discontinued due to slow sales.

Finally, I received a lot of questions regarding Baldwin’s new “Evolved” product.   I will be sending out another update with a new piece of literature for the Evolved product.

Price Increase and price book detail:

•  Estate and Reserve changes comprise a 1.0% and 1.7% weighted average increase respectively.
•  New Estate list price changes are limited to rosettes, rim locks, mortise cylinders and select cabinet hardware while new Reserve list prices impact the entire lock portfolio (except the Crystal knob).
•  Orders placed prior to May 1, 2017 will be entered using current list prices.
•  Orders placed starting May 1, 2017 will be entered using the new list prices.
•  Enclosed are files with new list prices and SKU detail as well as a list of discontinued products.
•  The new Reserve price book will be available early March with the Estate price book available early April (PDF available March 1).

•   We are excited to introduce two new Estate product categories: Baldwin Evolved and screen door hardware.
