Samuel Heath Presents New Additions to the Style Moderne Collection
It is with great excitement, that we present our newest innovations for 2014.
Samuel Heath commissioned bespoke designs from an artisanal glass designer. The result is Luxe, a collection of individually cut glass fixtures in two shapes: afaceted barrel-shaped lever and a flat roundel. Both designs capture the essence of the Art-Deco era; straight lines, rectilinear forms and geometric shapes. The finished controls are hand polished for an elegant, light-reflecting finish encapsulating the glamour of the era.
Also new to the Style Moderne collection are single lever options. Available in faucet or bidet formats, this new control incorporates the same key design elements including the hand-finished knurling detail, in a carefully proportioned and contemporary tap.
New Bronze Finishes Now Available for Fairfield and Style Moderne Collections
Building on the trend for warm metal tones in interiors, Samuel Heath is introducing the latest additions to its Bronze offerings: Country Bronze and City Bronze. Both are plated finishes which, in combination with a final coat of matte laquer, bring increased longevity and resistance to daily wear and tear. Country Bronze has a warm, golden-toned finish, while City Bronze has a darker patina.

Jestico + Whilesworked closely with the Samuel Heathteam to select the perfect products for this project. To achieve a luxurious, boutique feel, Fairfield taps and showers were chosen for their classic motifs and rich character, with stylish bath/shower mixers, exposed thermostatic showers with ceramic levers and lavish large shower roses and ceramic lever basin taps, adding a sense of elegance and glamour. The soft curves and flawless chrome finish of the brassware stands out against natural tiles and dark wood to create a warm contrast.
Combining contemporary design with the heritage of the beautiful period building and the inspiration found in the panoramic lake and mountain views from each bedroom, the result is stunning boutique bathrooms for each guest, bringing an element of the hotel’s grand setting inside.
Upcoming Events on the East and West Coasts
For the 6th year in a row, Samuel Heath exhibited at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City fromSaturday, May 17th through Tuesday, May 20th. We had our new products and best-sellers on display and received some wonderful feedback from the attendees.
This year, Samuel Heath will make its debut at Dwell on Design which will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd.
