UPDATE: Vanity Production Delays
Most of you have heard about the devastating flood that affected our facility at 195 River Street in Paterson, NJ. Six feet of water ran through the building for 4 days, destroying all our equipment and most of the components needed for the production of our ‘Made In The USA’ vanity collections.
To make things worse, a second flood is now delaying our progress.
So we would like to make the following clear:
1. Our main building on Warren Street, containing our office and most of our inventory, HAS NOT been affected. Our entire inventory of finished goods is safe and dry. We continue our normal operation.
2. We are in the process of relocating the vanity factory to our Warren Street buildings. We are preparing the space, and have already ordered all the equipment and raw materials. Some of the door components from Italy had been ordered before the floods and are due here shortly.
3. We expect to start small-scale production before end of September. We understand that this is longer than any of us would like, but we assure you we are doing everything possible to expedite the process, including working overtime and weekends. We plan to be in full production by Thanksgiving.
4. Once we resume production, the following collections may incur 4-5 weeks lead time: Daytona, Metropolitan, Mini’s and Vienna. We will do everything possible to reduce this.
5. We are convinced that our new facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, once in full operation,
will enable us to provide much better service.
Please disregard this note if previously received. We thank you for your patience and support.
