If you’re not familiar with this unit, it’s designed so the supply line going to the Water filter (30101) runs through the main unit and sensors set on the base of the cabinet. If the sensors detect water (moisture), the unit shuts off the water supply to the filter unit and an alarm goes off letting the homeowner know they have a water leak issue. The unit does not have to be used in conjunction with a water filter, the sensors will detect water and set off the alarm whether it’s used with the filter or not.
