The year is almost over….2017 has been a very very busy year for most of us. Emtek has had some records setting months this year. October was the largest sales month of my 7 year career serving you. There have been many changes put into place this year and I want to cover some important information with all of you to keep you up to date and in the know.
Emtek Mistakes
Customer Accommodation is an excellent new term at Emtek. When Emtek makes a mistake, they are now willing to expedite product to correct it Next Day Air, this is a wonderful change for sure.
Samples
You, as a dealer can now order your own samples and there is a sample form I am attaching in case you have missed it in previous e mails. It spells out the sample program and the way it works. Samples are now a Priority to get them out the door.
1-3 Day Build Time
Emtek is back on track for most orders thank goodness. 1-3 day build time, 3 day air freight free. Some orders take longer. Multi Point should be expected to always take longer as Emtek does modifications on this product in house.
Key In Knobs and Lever Adjustable Latches
The adjustable latches have finally been replaced with NON ADJUSTABLE latches for this product. Please remember, Key In Knobs & Levers take a special latch. Make sure you let customer service or myself know when you needs a latch for this product.
Dealer Account Software
CRC Dash is now available for dealers unless you are an LMC account. I strongly urge you to sign up for access to your account information. It takes about 3 minutes to fill out the form and email it to Emtek. The CRC Dash email is on the form. This will eliminate the need to call Emtek many times. Please sign up today.
Call In Wait Times
Yes, it is dreadful. CRC Dash will help tremendously. You can find your own answers without calling customer service.
4-5 New customer service reps will be on the phones mid December, 3 more are currently being trained.
In the very near future, a Technical Support team, will be added so more difficult questions will be forwarded to these folks to get good information and free up the phones for easier issues to be dealt with more quickly. Emtek is VERY AWARE of the phone issue.
Thanksgiving Shut Down at Emtek
Emtek will be closed on Thanksgiving and Friday after Thanksgiving. Please try to have all of your issues and orders in before end of business Wednesday.

Emtek is open from 8:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Displays
The display department at Emtek is back up and running. There is a very large backlog on displays. If you would like to look at displays that are available, go to www.emtek.com, click on DISPLAYS. Please lt me know what you would like to add and I will get them ordered so you are on the list.
Literature
New full size Door Hardware Brochures should be available mid December – early January. They will be replacing the 2016 version. Please let me know if you would like some ordered and how many. Also, any other literature you might need.
