The Delta^® product team is pleased to announce the introduction of the MultiChoice^® Integrated Shower Diverter. Built upon the market-proven Delta MultiChoice Universal platform, the system provides a sleek, streamlined look and allows flexibility for future product updates.

Product Description

The Delta Integrated Shower Diverter is a new combination rough that provides sleek, streamlined shower styles, eliminates the need for an additional diverter valve and leverages the flexibility of the market-proven Delta MultiChoice Universal Valve platform.

Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower style and functionality changes can be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall. With separate controls in one trim, the Integrated Shower Diverter is available in 3- and 6-setting options with a one-piece forged valve body available with and without stops. Offered in Chrome, Brilliance^® Stainless and Venetian Bronze^®finishes, the diverter is available in three style options:

• Traditional – coordinates with Delta Cassidy^™, Victorian^® and Linden^™ collections
• Contemporary Round – coordinates with Delta Trinsic^®, Compel^® and Tesla^® collections
• Angular Modern – coordinates with Delta Ara^®, Zura™, Dryden^™, Vero^® and Ashlyn^® collections

MultiChoice Integrated Shower Diverter Features

• MultiChoice Universal Rough-in – one-piece brass forging with and without screwdriver stops
  • Sweat onto ½” C.W.T. or accepts ½” iron pipe, PEX or CPVC adapters
  • ½” universal inlets/outlets with male threads
• Utilizes same MultiChoice and diverter cartridges
  • Monitor^® 14 Series single-function pressure balance valve 3- or 6-setting diverter trim – temperature control only
  • Monitor^® 17 Series dual-function valve with 3- or 6-setting diverter trim – temperature and volume control.
  • 17T Series TempAssure^® thermostatic valve with 3- or 6-setting diverter trim – precise temperature and volume control
  • Diverter control is available in 3- and 6-setting styles
    • 3-setting: 2 individual positions, 1 shared position
    • 6-setting: 3 individual positions, 3 shared positions
    • For non-shared diverter positions, separate kits are available (RP71717 or RP71718)
• Stacked controls eliminate the need for an additional diverter valve; no need for two separate roughs/trims
  • Top handle controls diverter functions
  • Bottom handle(s) controls on/off and adjusts temperature; volume control also available in 17 and 17T series
• New handle orientation at 6 o’clock in off position
• Field adjustable to limit handle rotation into hot water zone
• Standard installation accommodates finished wall thickness of 1-1/8″
• Extension kits will be available to provide an additional 1” to mounting depth – information will be posted on .BIZ in October/November when dates are set for these items.
