Here is some EXTREMLY helpful information for your dealers and their installers when hooking up the ice maker water line in new construction or remodeling projects( when not using a ¼” copper or plastic water line).Builders/contractors today are installing shut off valves in the wall and using the braided plastic or SS water lines with ¼” threaded ends ( a standard ice maker waterline kit).
· First option is for $5.50 they can buy a brass connector that connects the ¼” braided line with the brass metric connection supplied with the refrigerators
· The other option is to buy a ¼” to ¼” compression fitting at a hardware store and connect a ¼” copper line between the ¼” threaded end of the braided line with the brass adaptor supplied by Liebherr.
Either way SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH ALL YOUR DEALERS AND THEIR INSTALLERS ASAP! ESPECIALLY NEW DEALERS
