Newport Brass Introduces Four New Traditional Lavatory Faucets

Newport Brass is thrilled to introduce new widespread bath faucet additions to their Astor and Metropole collections. Featuring prominently designed spouts and various ADA compliant handle options, including cross, lever and crystal, these new faucet offerings give customers even more design choices and multiple applications for lavatory sinks and basins.

Astor

Combining traditional shapes with modern functionality, the nostalgic Astor collection channels historical fittings from the early twentieth century – a refined interpretation of the vintage industrial genre. Measuring 6″ high from countertop to topside of the hexagonal arc spout, the spout’s angular planes follow the form continuously until reaching the aerator. Reminiscent of the traditional manner in which vintage faucets were assembled, Astor’s handles offer a “bonnet and stem” inspired appearance evoking designs of yesteryear. Handle options include ADA compliant lever or cross styles; the handle levers are rectangular prisms with square faces, while the cross handles incorporate white porcelain elements that add a traditional flair.

Metropole

Incorporating classical and neoclassical elements into linear form, the new widespread Metropole faucet expansion brings to mind Art Deco’s inspired, streamlined elegance. Channeling fin de siècle style, Metropole features the same angular spout as Astor but with different handle assemblies to further complement the spout. The levers are tapered inward and are available in solid brass or crystal – a refined material that adds a touch of elegance. Available throughout the entire Metropole collection, the octagonal crystal levers add to the allure and mystique of this classically inspired design theme, adding unprecedented glamour to the bath.

The addition of the prominently designed spouts opens up more design possibilities by expanding both the Astor and Metropole collections to four combinations within each offering. Like most Newport Brass collections, these faucets are constructed from solid brass and are available in 27 unique finishes to give customers the flexibility to customize the products to meet their unique design vision.
