With persistent and rising inflation in global manufacturing and transportation costs, Baldwin has been working hard to maintain service, quality, and a healthy brand while delivering the best value to your customers in the face of unprecedented business pressure. We have made inventory investments to support our expanded Quick Ship program over the last 24 months and continue our accelerated pace of new product introductions. At this time, it is necessary to implement a price increase in the Reserve product portfolios and an adjustment within Estate as outlined below. We appreciate your partnership during these challenging times.
ESTATE PRICE ADJUSTMENT
We are eliminating the 2 Tier pricing structure and are harmonizing pricing across all finishes in the portfolio. There will no longer be an upcharge for our specialty and PVD Finishes, as we will increase the price on the former Tier 1 finishes and decrease price on our former Tier 2 finishes. These changes will take effect on May 23, 2022 across all product categories.
Estate Price Adjustment Overview:
- 7% increase on former Tier 1 finishes
- 7% decrease average on Tier 2 finishes (decrease % varies by SKU
RESERVE PRICE INCREASE
In addition, we will also increase prices on the Reserve Portfolio taking effect on May 23, 2022. New list price changes apply to all product categories.
Reserve Price Increase Overview:
- 5% increase on Handlesets
- 10% increase on Levers, Knobs, MultiPoint and Deadbolts
- 8% increase on Service parts
- $10 Master Keying cost
Please see below for details and timeline regarding the upcoming changes:
- Orders placed prior to May 22, 2022 will be entered using current list prices.
- Orders placed starting May 23, 2022 will be entered using the new list prices.
- Updated Estate and Reserve PDF and hard copy price books will be available by mid-April 2022.
- An updated Excel Price List detailing the Estate and Reserve increases is now available.
