This is another tip that I took from my Daily Devotional that has benefits for work and home.
When it comes to the tongue there are three basic rules:
Don’t speak too quickly.
Don’t respond too quickly.
Don’t commit too quickly.
These three rules can be summed up with another well-known rule. Think before you speak and think before you act.
Your time and your words are two things that can never be taken back, so carefully weigh what you say.
