I thought about one of my favorite sayings, “Time Kills a Deal,” when I read this quote by Lee Iacocca.

Don’t let the fear of rejection keep you from asking for the business in a timely fashion.

You have to close for commitment before the customer has decided not to buy. When that decision is made too late you can lose the sale.
