When I read this quote from Tom Edison, I immediately thought about how a lot of salespeople will give up after the first rejection. Any book that I have read (including mine) states that you have to ask for the sale a minimum of three to five times and that does not include following up with them.
Thomas Edison gets it. He was not afraid to try one more time. What about you?
