The US government has increased the import tariffs on goods manufactured in China from 10% to 25%, effective as of June 1st, 2019. FRANKE has been absorbing and mitigating the earlier 10% tariffs in order to allow our partners to remain competitive and we will continue to do so with the additional 15% tariff increase.
We can confidently inform you that FRANKE will not increase our general pricing structure for the wholesale business.
However, we need to take two specific actions to assist with mitigation of this impact.
● We will adjust the net pricing for our CUBE sink line – which is made in China, (see below to download)
● We will suspend our cash discount terms until the tariff situation normalizes
Both actions will go into effect for orders placed as of June 1st, 2019.
