Potential issue with Bemis/Toto seats not fitting correctly on Viper Toilets

The information provided below is from Dan Bors with Curnayn sales.

Out of two thousand units we have sold we have only received a dozen complaints. I know this does not make the problem go away. I know since the bumper on these particular seats is small we have had the same issue on some of our competitors toilets as well. I believe it is more of a Bemis issue than Gerber issue.

I would like to recommend that we suggest the following seats to be sold in conjunction with Viper Toilets.

Wood Seats

600E2: This is a molded wood seat with lift-off and slow-close feature. Same as 200SLOW.

1600E2: This is a molded wood elongated seat with lift-off and slow-close feature. Same as 1200SLOW.

Plastic Seats

9160NISL: This is a plastic round front seat with a nickel hinge with slow-close feature.

9160CHSL: This is a plastic round front seat with a chrome hinge with slow-close feature.

19160NISL: This is a elong. seat with nickel hinge and slow-close feature.

19160CHSL: This is a elong. seat with chrome hinge and slow-close feature.

I do not want to discourage the sale of Viper toilets but just want to make everyone aware of this issue. I believe we will have no customer complaints if we guide the customer towards the seats recommended.
